Social Skills Group
The social skills group teaches kids more abstract social skills. The group focuses on teaching social problem solving and emotional regulation along with the social skills taught each week.
Some of the challenges addressed in this group include:
- Making Friends
- Emotion Regulation
- Feeling Sad and what to do about it
- Confidence
- Tone of Voice and other non-verbal cues
- Bullying, teasing
- Making Plans with Friends
- Staying on Topic
- 2 way conversation / compromise and resolve conflict (ADD)
