Mindful Mavericks – Self-Regulation Group | Ages 8-10

In this group, children become “Mindful Mavericks” as they learn to understand and manage their emotions with confidence. Through engaging exercises, creative activities, and teamwork, kids build emotional awareness and develop practical self-regulation strategies. The group encourages kids to embrace their feelings and navigate them in healthy, and empowering ways. The program will also teach skills such as: taking other’s perspectives, understanding what is expected and unexpected behaviour, and how one’s behaviour can impact thoughts and feelings of others.
