Erin Gilchrist
Speech-Language Pathologist – MHSc, Reg. CASLPO
Erin is a Speech-Language Pathologist at LSCTS.
She enjoys working with children and their families in the areas of early language and literacy, as well as speech sound disorders. As an SLP, Erin completes assessments and develops treatment plans, which she shares collaboratively with a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA). She also supervises therapy sessions and supports client progress.
Erin has over 20 years of experience in the field of speech and language, first working as a CDA for 10 years and then as an SLP for the past 10 years. She has worked with children of all ages in schools, homes, and clinical settings, both individually and as part of interdisciplinary teams.
Erin works with preschool- and school-aged children to support functional and efficient communication for social and academic development. She enjoys collaborating with clients, their families, CDAs, and the broader care team to meet each child’s needs in an evidence-based and client-centred way.
