Ready, Set, School!
Welcome to Ready, Set, School!Â
An amazing experience for children who are either entering school or returning to school for the first time.
The program will take place at our clinics and will be run by our experienced staff and volunteers. The program will run from 9:00am to 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Our therapy space will be organized into many different areas for your child’s exploration and learning. Our program will focus on helping your child develop school-readiness skills in different areas such as communication, play, social interaction, functional routines and behavioral self-management.
We plan our program to mimic a classroom setting to support the transition to school as best we can. During the program, your child will follow a daily routine, engage in group play, practice turn taking with peers, learn how to open and close lunch containers independently, have plenty of opportunity for movement through ‘recess’, learn new skills to prepare for participation in school and, most of all, have tons of fun!
