March 21st 2022 Update:
LSCTS will be recommending the use of Masks at all clinic sites
As of March 21st, 2022, the Ontario Government will be lifting many of the Covid-19 public health mandates, including mask requirements in public spaces and businesses.
Although clients will not be required to wear a mask, for the safety of our staff and others, we do recommend that all visitors wear a mask while in our clinics.
Our staff members will continue to wear masks/PPE, complete client screening and keep following our covid-19 safety practices until at least April 27th, 2022.
As always, we ask that if a client or family member develops Covid-19 symptoms or feel unwell, to contact our office immediately and follow all public health guidelines.
Our clinics will continue with both in-clinic and virtual appointments to accommodate our clients.
We know that after two years of a pandemic, we are all eager to get back to normal, and we are grateful for everyone’s patience and cooperation as we continue to keep our clinics a safe and healthy environment in this shift back to normal.
Thank you!

October 1st, 2021 Update
Our clinic will continue to be open for in-clinic and virtual appointments. If you do not feel comfortable coming in-clinic we will change your appointment to virtual. We will continue to practice strict protocols and procedures as we did from day one. Please call our office if you have any concerns or questions. Thank you and stay safe!

In cooperation with the Ontario Government’s update of August 26, 2021 we will be updating our Covid-19 screening upon entering our clinic. We will be asking everyone over the age of 12 if they have received their second vaccination shot as a background question ONLY. As we are an essential service, we will NOT be requiring Proof of Vaccination to access the services at LSCTS.
The following screening questions will be asked at time of your appointment:
Question 1: Does the person have any of the following symptoms?
- Fever and/or chills
- New onset of cough or worsening chronic cough
- Shortness of breath
- Decrease or loss of sense of taste or smell
- If adult (>18 years of age): unexplained fatigue/lethargy/malaise/muscle aches (myalgias)
- If child (<18 years of age): nausea/vomiting, diarrhea
**Please note, a RUNNY NOSE is no longer a symptom of Covid-19 and will not prevent a client from their appointment – Please monitor for any other symptoms**
Question 2: Has the person tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 10 days or been told to isolate?
(Q3 & Q4 will be asked if the person is not fully vaccinated – Fully vaccinated: Have received both vaccine shots >14 days prior to appointment)
Question 3: Has the person travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days?
Question 4: Has the person had close contact with a positive case of Covid-19 without wearing appropriate PPE?
If answer is NO to ALL screening questions = Negative screening and appointment can proceed.
If your child starts to develop any symptoms, please monitor and keep our office updated on their condition. If symptoms continue or worsen, please call to cancel and reschedule right away. Please be aware, that ALL cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a cancellation fee.
Thank you all for your cooperation as we strive to keep both our clients and our team safe.
